Ruby Bridges was born September 8, 1954 inTylertown,Mississippi. When she was only six years old she went to theWilliamFrantzSchool. This school was a all white school. Ruby had to be walk to school by four marshals so no one would hurt her. Many people were mad at Ruby Bridges was going to an all white school. People were yelling at her and trying to throw objects at her because she did'nt want her to go to that school. there was only one teacher that was willing to teach Ruby and that was Mrs. Henery.
